The state of Florida is located at the Southeast region of USA and is known by its many touristic attractions, their main source of income. Florida is among the five states with the bigger growth rate in the country, mostly thanks to the immigrants. That's the case with J. Davila e Kelly Davila, who went to the USA in search of a better future, became American citizens and are residents for 19 years now. J. Davila and Kelly surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ at Boston, through a message preached by Pr. Marco A. Peixoto, president of Comunidade Internacional da Zona Sul. Since then God has been preparing the couple to work as pastors in the state of Florida. Researches prove that about 80% of the people living in Florida are Christians, but in daily life things seem to be a lot different. Only a few churches have been active to make a difference at the American nation. Few people are living the gospel with serious commitment. But as long as they've been sent by Pr. Marco Antônio, Pastors Davila and Kelly have started, about two years ago, the new Comunidade Evangelica Internacional da Zona Sul unit: CEIZS - Florida, a church who seeks to see being performed on this state and this nation the same things that God has been doing at every Comunidade unit around the planet: men and women being impacted by the power of God, living a radical life of prayer and worship for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pastors J. Davila and Kelly Davila are married for 7 years and have two children: Amanda and Joshua. August, 8th One of the biggest challenges that Comunidade faces at Florida is people's lack of confidence and the negative image they have about the church and everything related to it. Comunidade is located at an area where most of the people already visited a church or are Christians who were once hurt and decided not to take part in any ministry for the fear of being disappointed once more. The Comunidade at Florida was given the privilege of the opportunity to prove them wrong, moving on the opposite direction of what was happening to churches on that region. Pastors Marco and Juçara Peixoto have been references, leading with a powerful testimony of boldness, faith and faithfulness to our Lord, what encourages the visitants, which number increases by every service, to come back again and come to stay. Because of the faithfulness of our leaders and church members, God is performing wonders at Florida's CEIZS unit, transforming men and women into real warriors, restoring marriages, delivering the youth from drug addiction and making business men prosperous.
Evangelism: The evangelism team of Comunidade – Florida is constantly out at the streets, parks and beaches. People who usually attend to those places become impressed by the church's attitude of this way expressing the love of God and proclaiming his word.
